NIRMV Senior Services Coordinator

Nancie Coley, calligrapher and owner of Calligraphy by Coley, enjoys expressing her diverse creativity and encouraging others to explore their potential. She was the first keynote speaker for NIRMM Salute signature event. Coley has also done face painting at events throughout Metropolitan Detroit and trained youth while encouraging them to consider this skill set as a possible future related money-making opportunity.

Coley attended Wayne County Community College and Wayne State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from The University of Detroit Mercy. Coley retired from City of Detroit Planning and Development Department-Housing Services. Her other employment history includes: Curatorial Secretary for European Painting Department at the Detroit Institute of Arts and City of Detroit Events Services Manager at Cobo Hall. Coley continues to participate in various classes at community centers and universities and she enjoys interacting with students while attending these classes.
